1. What TryBeforeDubai is — and isn't
TryBeforeDubai is an independent decision-support and information platform. It helps you compare Dubai communities, estimate costs, and shortlist places to live. We are not a licensed real estate brokerage, not a financial, legal, tax or immigration adviser, and we do not list or sell property. Nothing here is professional advice or an offer. Always verify with licensed professionals before signing a lease, enrolling in a school, or making any financial commitment.
2. Illustrative data
Much of our content is illustrative seed data, clearly labelled “Awaiting verification.” Rent bands, scores, commute times, fees and amenities are estimates that may be inaccurate or out of date. The matching score and cost calculator are guidance tools, not guarantees. Use them as a starting point, not a substitute for your own due diligence.
3. Purchases & payment
Some parts of TryBeforeDubai are paid:
- The Dubai Landing Plan — a one-off, personalised digital report generated from your questionnaire answers, for AED 499.
- The VIP full-service landing — a bespoke, done-for-you service. It is quoted and invoiced separately after we speak; its scope, price and terms are agreed with you in writing before any payment.
Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include UAE VAT at 5% where it applies. Our Tax Registration Number is available on request; a VAT receipt is available on request.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. We never receive or store your full card details. By paying, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.
Delivery is immediate.As soon as your payment succeeds, your report is generated and made available on a private link, and a copy of that link is emailed to you. Anyone with the link can open that report, so keep it to yourself. Your purchase is licensed for your own personal relocation research (see “Acceptable use” and “Intellectual property” below).
Your report is built on the same illustrative-until-verified data described above. It is decision support, not professional advice, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome, price or availability.
4. Refunds & our money-back guarantee
Because the report is a digital product delivered to you immediately, you agree that we begin delivering it as soon as you pay, and that any statutory “cooling-off” or distance-cancellation right may no longer apply once delivery has started.
We go further than that, on purpose. If your report doesn't show you at least one thing that changes your shortlist or saves you money, email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund your AED 499 in full — no argument. That's the same promise we make across the site, and we mean it.
To request a refund, email hello@trybeforedubai.com from the address you bought with. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
For the Guided Landing: you can cancel for a full refund any time before your 1:1 strategy call. After the call has taken place, the AED 499report element is non-refundable (you keep the report), and the remainder is refundable only where we haven't yet delivered the agreed support.
The VIP full-service landing is bespoke, so its cancellation and refund terms are set out in the written engagement we agree with you before you pay, rather than here.
5. Introductions & referrals
If you ask, we may introduce you to licensed brokers, schools, relocation or visa professionals. We may receive a fixed, disclosed referral fee for some introductions. These fees are the same regardless of which option you choose and do not change the recommendations our engine produces — our independence is the point of the product. You are free to use any professional you like; an introduction is not an endorsement, and any agreement you reach is between you and that third party.
6. Acceptable use
- Use the site and any report you buy for your own personal, lawful relocation research.
- Don't scrape, resell, or systematically copy our content, data or reports.
- Don't submit false, infringing or unlawful content (including in resident insights), or anyone else's personal data without their permission.
- Resident insights are moderated before publication and may be edited or declined.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, its design, copy, matching methodology, compiled data and the reports we generate are owned by TryBeforeDubai or its licensors. Photography is used under the licences credited on our image credits page. You may share links to our pages, but not republish substantial parts without permission.
8. No warranties & limitation of liability
The platform and any report are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from decisions you make based on the platform's estimates, your report, or any introduction.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, and separate from the refund promise above, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the platform or a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect — including the order and report data we store when you buy — and your rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. By using the forms or making a purchase you agree to it.
10. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; the date above will change. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones in force when you buy. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable emirate of Dubai, and you submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
11. Contact & business identity
TryBeforeDubai is a trading name of Hardcastle Advisory Group, a company licensed by Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
